RR100-2 Agate Geodes - Brazil

Agate Geodes: $14.00 lb. - 1 lb. min.
These are somewhat larger but have thin walls and all have great crystals in the cavities.

AGATE GEODES: A geode is a hollow rock with crystals lining the inside walls. Geodes are formed in the gas cavities of ancient lava flows where silicate rich solutions fill the cavities. They can be filled with amethyst agate, quartz or a combination of them all and almost all geodes show some banding of agate a var. chalcendony. There are some other minerals that form in geodes.
